Desk Still Life

Today I did a still life of a desk scene. The scene consists of a flower in a vase, and a small bowl with a letter on top. I am pretty pleased with the results. I think I have become more relaxed with drawing and less afraid of making mistakes. I experimented with shading a lot in this drawing and it adds a lot to the picture. In general, I think shading is one of the best techniques to master.
